I remember leaving the house at the crack of dawn and not returning until dark. Without a cellphone.
Riding our bikes, all the way to Carbuncle.
Still a childhood theme? - Not having to watch what I eat and still never gaining weight.- Not wearing glasses- outdoor life before sunblock- Jumping up and touching the rim. - Thinking a tuba was so much cooler than a sousaphone
